Family camp-ins are unique overnight programs hosted by the Museum for 1st–8th grade students and their adult chaperones. Participants are able to visit exhibitions, watch IMAX and Planetarium shows, and explore the Museum.
Journey through Space Family Camp-In
Grades 1–8 + adult
Spend a wonderful time together as a family as you explore our amazing universe. During the evening you’ll launch rockets, build a robot, touch a meteorite, see a Planetarium show, and more! You can enjoy the Museum without the crowds before going to sleep amid the award-winning dioramas. After a light breakfast, you’ll have the opportunity to visit the dynamic temporary exhibition, Genghis Khan, where you’ll view rare treasures, try out family-friendly activities, and become immersed in the world of 13th-century Mongolia.
Cost includes admission to the Museum, Genghis Khan exhibition, and Planetarium; workshops and activities; evening snack; light breakfast; and overnight stay in the Museum.
Saturday–Sunday, October 24–25, 6:00 p.m.–10:00 a.m.
$45 per person
