Children’s Workshops Teen Assistant

The Denver Museum of Nature & Science is looking for teens for Children’s Workshops to provide educational experiences to children about natural history, health, and science topics. Activities include: assisting in all aspects of the class, performing dissections, conducting experiments, leading craft projects, welcoming parents and children, and being engaged in active game play.

Skills & Abilities: Friendly, great with kids, flexible, enthusiastic and willing to learn
Training: On the job training
Schedule: Saturdays and Sundays; Shifts range from 4 to 8 hours
Minimum Commitment: Minimum of 40 hours between September 2009 to May 2010
Age Requirement: Available to individual applicants 13 and older
